Welcome to Yeobo!
We are a 100% gluten-free cafe and bar located in Madison Valley, Seattle. Established by Mars Sohn in 2025, they've spent the last 8 years of their career in the food industry learning as much as they could about the ins and outs of the industry in order to create a space intentionally centered around community and creativity.

FAQ
Is everything you make gluten free?
Yes! We only use gluten free ingredients in all of our food and drink recipes. We make as much from scratch in house as we can, this include our baked goods, our marinades, our syrups and shrubs, and more!
Does that mean it's celiac safe?
not necessarily! While all our ingredients are gluten free, we have been notified by our community that our oat milk is not celiac safe! We use either Califia or Oatly, depending on what is in stock, and while both are certified gluten free they are still not celiac safe (according to other people with celiac, and they are the experts so I trust them.)
We do not intend to advertise ourselves as "celiac safe" without thorough and proper testing and certification, though we are confident in being gluten free! Our team isn't even allowed to bring in outside food containing gluten, we're very careful with what we bring in-house.
What flour do you use?
That depends on the product! We are currently using a combination or millet flour, sorghum flour, potato starch, tapioca starch, corn starch, brown rice flour, and white rice flour in our various baked goods. We always keep a full ingredient list by our register if you have specific questions.
Why no tipping?
I (Mars) believe in total financial transparency, and that includes no hidden fees. This includes eliminating tipping, rather making our prices all-inclusive to accomadate the cost of creating a healthy and sustainable environment for our team. Everyone on the team makes the same hourly wage (currently $26/hr,) and all receive some quantity of PTO up front annually at a higher rate than is mandated (full-time employees get 80 hours up front, and part-time get 40.) We also offer company financed health coverage - medical, dental, and vision - to all full time employees. Opening a business is hard, and I wanted to make sure our team who has been working their a$$es off had the resources they need to take care of themselves while taking on such an enormous task.
When are you changing out the Two Doors Down sign? When are you getting more tables? When are you adding bar hours?
The answer to all of the "why haven't you done ____ yet" questions is the same - all these things cost money, which we don't have. I opened this restaurant with far less money than everyone said i would need (they were right) and with nothing but a hope and a dream I knew that we would figure it out as we go. Amidst all the "figuring it out as we go," we keep getting hit with more unexpected repairs and bills because the space we're in was not as well maintained as we were led to believe upon purchasing. We recently launched a gofundme to help us finance some of these repairs and projects, because all these expenses are continually draining our finances preventing us from operating at full capacity. So if you enjoy our space, and you want us to stick around, we would so appreciate if you would consider helping us out.
